Information you choose to provide
ChowTime can store your fasting schedule, reminder and display preferences, confirmed fasts, extended-fast history, and optional weight measurements. A weight entry includes the measurement date and weight. This information is used to operate the app and show your progress.
Storage and deletion
ChowTime stores app information locally on your device. Cruz App Labs does not operate a ChowTime account or cloud-sync service that receives it. You can edit or delete weight entries from Progress > Weight history. Deleting all weight entries also disables weight reminders. Deleting the app removes its local data.
Apple device backups may retain or restore app data according to your device and iCloud backup settings. Deleting the app does not necessarily remove an existing backup.
Apple Watch, Live Activities, and notifications
If you use Premium with a paired Apple Watch, ChowTime transfers your fasting schedule and Premium-access status to the Watch for countdowns and complications. Weight entries are not transferred to the Watch. Live Activities share current timer information with Apple’s system interfaces. Local notifications use your reminder preferences, and weight reminders do not display your weight.
You can disable notifications through ChowTime or iPhone Settings. You can remove Live Activities and Watch data by ending the activity, removing the app, or changing the applicable Apple system settings.
Purchases
Apple processes purchases and subscriptions. ChowTime receives transaction and entitlement status from Apple so it can unlock Premium and restore purchases. Cruz App Labs does not receive your payment-card details.
Support and websites
If you contact support, Cruz App Labs receives the information you choose to send and uses it to respond to and investigate your request. Avoid sending weight records or other sensitive health information unless needed for your request.
Opening an external website, subscription-management page, or email link leaves ChowTime and is handled under that service’s policies. This website’s hosting provider may process routine request information, such as IP address and browser details, to deliver and secure the site. Cruz App Labs does not add advertising trackers or analytics cookies to this policy page.
Health and safety
ChowTime is a scheduling tool, not a medical device, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency service. It does not promise weight loss. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before making health decisions, and do not delay medically necessary food, fluids, or medication to follow a timer.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new effective date. Review and update it before any future release adds accounts, analytics, advertising, HealthKit, or new data sharing.
